High density polyethylene – HDPE

HDPE foils are produced by blowing a melt of linear high density polyethylene. The product is a hose or hose with sidewalls. Cutting these hoses during production produces polylines or flat foils. HDPE films have a matte finish over LDPE films, are more turbid, stiffer, and have a distinctive feature.

HDPE films are characterized by higher strength but do not have defined shrinkable properties, such as LDPE foils. They are used for packing purposes, for the production of bags, bags and cuts of various sizes.
